Commitment to Community
A native Staten
Islander, Linda cares about the local Real Estate Community and her neighbors.
She demonstrates this by volunteering her time to the Real Estate industry and
neighborhood communities.

Realtor. She resided on the professional standards committee for four years
hearing ethic violation cases. 2004-2006 she was nominated and elected to serve

her service.
In 2008 when the Real Estate and Banking industries
collapsed, she was one of eight NYC realtors chosen to affiliate in a
foreclosure prevention program with the Center for New York City Neighbors, a
non-for-profit organization created by Mayor Bloomberg. She volunteered her
time in this program counseling, educating, and speaking to homeowners on the
process and the benefits of short sale rather than foreclosure. She helped many
homeowners avoid deficiency judgments and bankruptcy through her expertise in
short sales negotiations. She is currently still a certified and preferred
broker for the Center for New York City Neighbors in their foreclosure prevention
program.
She also organized events for Staten Islanders affected by
hurricane Sandy. Storming Back was the name of this group of local
professionals and vendors offering free advice to owners of damaged homes.
Linda's extends her advocacy beyond real estate; she
passionately supported cancer survivors by organizing a fund raiser that also
honored the life cancer survivors featuring music and special dance
performances. The funds raised
contributed to providing education aimed at preventing cancer in her community.
As a twenty-year cancer survivor, Linda is dedicated to raising awareness about
prevention.
She also shares her journey with cancer survival in her book
“Survivor’s Instinct” to inspire and educate others in their own
experience. Linda authored “Survivor’s
Instinct” chronicling her cancer journey and the decisions to forego
traditional treatment with instinct and self-research. Her purpose in writing
the book is to provide guidance and support to others affected by this disease.
It was published in 2019 by Outskirt Press and available on-line, Barnes &
